The Rosie Pool is located within Wepre Park.  Wepre consists of 160 acres of Woodland that is looked after by Flintshire Countryside Service.  The park gets hundreds of thousands of visitors each year and is absolutely stunning all year round.

Wepre is also home to Ewloe Castle which dates back to the mid 1200s. The castle is roughly a 30 minute walk from the car park and takes you through some fantastic woodland scenery including a stone built bridge, a waterfall and Red rock.

There is also a well equipped children's play area and skateboard ramp near to the car park and a visitor centre which has plenty of information about the park and surrounding area. There is a cafe within the visitor centre where you can obtain refreshments.  Just behind the visitor centre there are the old hall gardens which have recently had a large amount of work completed to restore them to their former glory.

If you are coming to fish the Rosie, or just have a look at the lake, be sure to spend some time exploring this wonderful area of beauty.
